Kid goku with a pl of 12 picked up a car with one hand effortlessly. While roshi has a pl of around 120 to 160 i believe. So thats at least a 10x difference. So roshi could arguably lift a car that is 10x the weight of the one goku lifted effortlessly so id say he could struggle to lift one 40x with both arms. Lets say the car was 1000lb than thats 40,000lb or 20 tons. 2x for buff roshi thats 40 tons or 80,000lb. So i have roshi around venom 40 tonner while spiderman is usually a 20 tonner is what im told. I can see spiderman winning a few matchs. Roshi 7/10

As for it being or not being linear there is no proof to say its not.

Goku's wrist bands in dragon ball at the 23rd tournament were 50 pounds. In the buu saga, when he's millions of times more powerful, he can't lift his arm with 10 ton wrist bands. So his strength didn't even increase 400x despite his power level increasing much higher than that. Captain america beat a much stronger hulk so staggering tgis hulk is not much of a feat imo. As for silver surfer his power fluctuates so much i would not be suprised if the army can hurt him. As for spidy i will go with whats consistent that he is in the 20 ton range. Venom 40 ton. Carnage 60 ton and toxin 75 to 80 ton

But yes, if we decide to use those feats, Roshi's not going to last more than a minute at best.

What do you mean the wrist bands are a bad example? They're a bad example if you're trying to say how much goku is capable of lifting. Sure goku is probably capable of lifting 100+ tons but I'm comparing it to his previous strength feat of fighting with wrist bands on
